Recruitment Strategy

What do we look for?

We have built up a thorough understanding of the attributes that can add up to a successful start to a consultancy career with Informed Solutions. Whilst exceptional practitioner skills go without saying, successful graduates will:

  • Have good all round interpersonal skills, with an ability to analyse problems and exercise good judgement in finding effective solutions;
  • Be articulate and sincere communicators; not necessarily the loudest or most forthright, with the ability to empathise with others and build valuable relationships;
  • Be creative and thorough, with excellent attention to detail and an understanding of the importance of quality;
  • Be motivated by achievement and fulfilling their potential;
  • Thrive in a team environment; and,
  • Be results focussed, using technology as a means to an end, as opposed to an end in itself.

In addition, we look for people who are:

  • Positive, flexible and adaptable with a 'can-do' attitude to overcoming challenges (that are not always technical);
  • Enthusiastic and responsive when working within a team; determining a course of action; and focusing their efforts to deliver this;
  • Conscientious and diligent towards their work, with a strong positive work ethic, so that their team feels confident that they can be entrusted with greater ownership and accountability; and,
  • Responsive and timely, respecting and appreciating the priorities and concerns of others, while being conscious of the effort that the team is making in terms of supporting the individual's learning and development.

The Application Process

We believe very strongly that if you are the right person for the Company then a role can be made available for you. Our recruitment process for graduates does not have a cut-off date, and we will accept applications at any time of the year.

Launching your career with Informed Solutions

Our culture is based on the fact that good quality business should build and strengthen valuable and mutually beneficial relationships. Our recruitment process is no exception and is based on 4 key stages which ensure that candidates spend a significant time in face-to-face discussions with our team.

These 4 stages will include a telephone and 3 personal interviews, each assessing different aspects of your suitability for the role. The third interview will be followed by a social, giving you the opportunity to meet with a number of your potential colleagues in an informal environment.

These discussions enable both parties to explore the suitability of the opportunity and to determine if the basis for a successful and long term relationship exists. These interviews will not only answer our questions about you, but will also introduce you to the culture of Informed Solutions, enabling you to decide if we are the right career choice for you. We are not only concerned with your skill-sets and knowledge-base; we also need to ensure that you are the right person for the role.

You will be provided with extensive feedback at every stage, no matter what the outcome. This, we hope, will prove valuable in the pursuit of any future career, even if it is not with Informed Solutions.

If you believe that you could make the role your own then we encourage you to send in your CV with a covering letter. Additionally if you have any questions and wish to speak to a member of the graduate team please contact us using the details below:
